Violin & Piano
Since 2021 Anna Göbel und Shanji Quan share their love for chamber music. Their repertoire includes baroque sonatas as well as the standarts of romantic violin literature and contemporary compositions. They like to extend their collaboration with other artists to perform as piano trio or piano quartet.
In summer 2022 they created the interdisciplinary production "Obsession" with two dancers at Dock 4 Kassel and the festival Lüneburger Bachwoche.
Shanji Quan studied at the music conservatory in Peking, at the music academie of Kassel and at the State University of Music and the Performing Arts Stuttgart. Masterclasses with professors such as Irina Edelstein und Hans Klaus expanded her education.
As a concert pianist and chamber music partner she appeared in many german and chinese cities.
Since April 2013 Shanji Quan teaches at the music academy of Kassel „Louis Spohr“.
